across Central and Southern Minnesota and the Twin Cities Metro Area,

Attention
Parents/Coaches/Students!!
We
have acquired a state-of-the-art pitching machine called the Pro Batter!
The Pro Batter (www.probatter.com)
that we have is the only one in the state of Minnesota
that is available for public use (Professional PX2
baseball model)! The Pro Batter will be located at our beautiful
new Big Lake location. It is a pitching machine that will give you
the most real life game practice possible! The Pro Batter has a big
video screen where you watch a Major League pitcher throw to you, the
batter. The machine throws fastballs from 40-90 mph. It also throws
sliders, curveballs and changeups without you having to go to the machine
and make an adjustment. It is all run by computer and it is a great
training tool!
Coaches, this facility would be an awesome place to bring
your team! Call for more details about using this amazing
machine! (320) 857-2244
The
mission of Solid Foundation Baseball School is to train
and lead each student to reach their full potential as a baseball
player, an athlete, and a person.
SFBS
remains committed to a low student-to-teacher
ratio so that we can properly train each player in the correct
mechanics of hitting, throwing, pitching, infielding, outfielding,
catching, and baserunning - using lessons learned at the major league
level.
At
SFBS, we DO NOT use a cookie-cutter approach for teaching
our students. Through professional assessment and evaluation, each student
is given player-specific techniques so they will be able to, through
application, reach their highest potential.
SFBS
works hard to provide every student a chance to achieve their goals,
whatever they may be. SFBS also hosts tryout
camps with professional baseball scouts to help students who have
the desire and skill to play at the next level realize their dreams.
Solid
Foundation Baseball School, Inc. was founded in 1997 by Atwater,
MN native and former major league baseball player Mike
Kingery. Mike earned 17 years of professional baseball
experience as an outfielder with the Kansas City Royals, Seattle Mariners,
San Francisco Giants, Oakland A's, Colorado Rockies and Pittsburgh Pirates.
Solid
Foundation has at its roots the desire to encourage baseball
players in their quest to be the best they can be, both personally and
athletically. The key to our success
is the individual attention
we are able to provide to each student through our low student-to-teacher
ratio.
If you have any questions about Solid Foundation Baseball School,
please contact us at 320-857-2244
or read through our frequently asked questions
page.
From May
through October, we offer the SFBS
60/50 individual lesson program
where you meet with a professional SFBS instructor
for one hour to work on whatever aspect of your game you choose. In
June, July, and August, Mike
Kingery and SFBS staff travel to various
locations across the state for one-week Summer Training Camps,
often sponsored by local baseball or community ed. and recreation organizations.

Testimonials ~
"Thanks
again for all your help with Ty. He is really enjoying the lessons and
learning a lot. You are a great coach and a really good role model for
him! Thanks too for asking Brian to help him with his throw. We feel really
blessed to have you in Ty's life."

"Thanks
for making the last 12 weeks a wonderful experience for my boys and their
teammates. Dave was great! My youngest son Nick feels totally energized
and confident that he will have a great season at the plate and on the
mound."

"Mike,
the reason I'm telling you all this is because after the season, Brady
and Cory and I sat down and talked about what helped them the most this
year and it seemed to always come back to 'That's what Mike told me to
do at Solid Foundation Baseball.'
I just wanted you to know what a positive influence you have been to their
game and how much I appreciate everything you have done for them over
the years. (Oh, and as a Dad, I wanted to brag just a little too) No really,
thanks for all you and your staff's work and we'll see you again this
year!"

"I also wanted to tell you that my baseball team is going to state.
And that I went 8 for 15 with a home run, a triple, and 5 doubles and
a single. I guess all those baseball camps I went to are paying off. Thanks
for all the help over the years."

"My
son Jason took batting instruction
from Mike Watters before the start of
this season, and it’s really paid off.
My thanks to Solid Foundation."

"I
wanted you to know St. Anthony won the class 2A state crown. Both Dan
and Mark
were named all-tournament. For the year, Dan batted .473 and Mark batted
.364. Dan was named to
the Pioneer Press
All-State team and
his brother Mark was named as the only sophomore position player honorable
mention all-state.
What a great year!
Thanks for your help.
It paid off big time."
