When you attend a Solid Foundation lesson, you can expect excellent instruction, enthusiastic teaching, great fun, and affordable prices; all from professional baseball instructors.

The key to our success is the individual attention we are able to provide to each student through our focus on a low student-to-teacher ratio. We know that each player is different - and we work with them on their individual strengths rather than through a cookie-cutter approach.

Solid Foundation Baseball School provides personal lessons and instruction throughout the year to baseball players across Central and Southern Minnesota and the Twin Cities Metro Area, as well as small group sessions in the winter, spring, and summer.

FAQ's
How do the SFBS baseball sessions work?

You reserve a day of the week and a time during that day where you receive instruction from a qualified SFBS instructor every week at that time for the entire session.

Do Sessions 1, 2 & 3 all cover the same things?
Each small group or private lesson is specific to that student(s) and covers what the player(s) want to improve on. Each subsequent lesson builds on what the instructor and student(s) have already covered. Since the lessons are private or semi-private (small group), the instructor is able to start each individual at the place best for them and work from there
.

Our professional SFBS instructors have expertise in every aspect of baseball and can provide focused training on:

Minnesota baseball camps Hitting baseball instruction in Minnesota Pitching
Minnesota baseball instruction Catching professional baseball instruction Minnesota Throwing
Minnesota baseball training Infielding Minnesota baseball school Baserunning
summer baseball camp Minnesota Outfielding Minnesota baseball clinics Baseball fundamentals

Students can sign up for individual lessons, or SFBS also encourages students and parents to create small groups on their own to save money. SFBS strives to be flexible to each student's specific needs - both in terms of training objectives and in terms of time. If you have a specific time or day you'd like to meet, please contact SFBS at 320-857-2244.

When students sign up for 6 or more lessons with Solid Foundation, they will receive an SFBS t-shirt and can also request a video evaluation of their hitting and progress.

Students should wear comfortable baseball attire and bring their own baseball glove and shoes to their lessons.

Attention Parents/Coaches/Students!!

Click here to sign up for the SFBS e-newsletterWe have acquired a state-of-the-art pitching machine called the Pro Batter! The Pro Batter (www.probatter.com) that we have is the only one in the state of Minnesota that is available for public use (Professional PX2 baseball model)! The Pro Batter will be located at our beautiful new Coon Rapids location (Grand Slam Sports). It is a pitching machine that will give you the most real life game practice possible! The Pro Batter has a big video screen where you watch a Major League pitcher throw to you, the batter. The machine throws fastballs from 40-90 mph. It also throws sliders, curveballs and changeups without you having to go to the machine and make an adjustment. It is all run by computer and it is a great training tool for hitters! Coaches, this facility would be an awesome place to bring your team! Call for more details about using this amazing machine!

~ Testimonials ~

"You really have that special touch with these kids in your camps. They respect you and know that whatever you're teaching them is the right thing. You are gentle and kind and can get your point across without being demeaning. That is not an easy thing to do!"

Minnesota baseball instruction

"Thanks for making the last 12 weeks a wonderful experience for my boys and their teammates. Dave was great! My youngest son Nick feels totally energized and confident that he will have a great season at the plate and on the mound."

Minnesota baseball instruction

"I've been wanting to get more lessons for a while but I've been so busy, I play on Babe Ruth, Legion, and the Express, and I'm helping with little league. The lessons really helped me last year. I practiced everything that you told me to for 150 swings a day, and I went from hitting around .270 for Babe Ruth last year to hitting .853 for school, legion, Babe Ruth and the Express combined. My hands have gotten really fast and I'm hitting balls a long ways."

Minnesota baseball instruction

"Thanks again for being willing to help. It’s made a BIG difference in his life!"

Minnesota professional baseball instruction

"Jake is doing well
and learning a lot! Thanks to you and JD's coaching! JD is really doing a fine job and has a real natural
ability to lead Jake to the next level."

St. Cloud baseball camps

"I just wanted to tell you what a great job Zach Nelson did with our kids the past couple of years. I believe the throwing and strenghening programs that Coach Nelson put on were very valuable and were an important component in the baseball success we have recently enjoyed. Our pitchers got better and injuries were fewer and that is a great combination. Keep up the good work."
